Additionally, these inspections will provide an effective basis for the City to evaluate the existing condition and load rating of the structures, and to identify any needed repairs. This amendment includes additional tasks to include load rating calculations and provide the associated report for three bridges on Smith Island and the Riverside Development bridge. The funding sources for Amendment No. 2 are: Fund 024 -Engineering/Public Services $17,617.00 Fund 401 -Utilities $34,091.00 RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 2 to Professional Services Agreement with TranTech Engineering, LLC, to perform the 2008 bridge inspections for the City of Everett for an additional amount of$51,708.00.
