Planning Commission September 2, 2008 Pg. 6 <br /> Meeting Minutes <br /> 7:44:28 PM <br /> Dave Koenig,stated that staff is working with OM on amendments to the design guidelines <br /> discussed in the DEIS. Their discussions have focused on developing something similar to the <br /> City's core residential design standards. Staff is also working on landscaping standards for the <br /> landfill. <br /> 7:45:31 PM <br /> Commissioner Newland asked when that information would be provided to Commission. Mr. <br /> Koenig responded that the City is required to advertise 15-days prior to the next meeting. The <br /> design standards, the visual analysis for the height modification, and landscaping standards <br /> would be ready at that time. <br /> 7:47:09 PM <br /> Chairman Olivers asked Mr. Koenig if he anticipated that Commission would be able to work <br /> through all the information in one hearing. Mr. Koenig responded that one meeting is <br /> scheduled; however, Commission may want to take more time. Commissioner Newland asked <br /> if the next meeting would be a decision meeting. Mr. Koenig responded yes and the proposed <br /> date is October 7, 2008 but he has also reserved the room for October 21, 2008. <br /> Chairman Olivers asked if there was going to be a meeting scheduled on September 16, 2008. <br /> Allan Giffen responded yes. The proposed agenda includes some informational items and an <br /> update on the DEIS for the Downtown Planned Action. <br /> 7:48:16 PM <br /> Commission Trautman asked if Commission would be reviewing the design guidelines for the <br /> residential areas for the entire site at the October 7th meeting. Mr. Koenig responded yes. <br /> Commissioner Newland asked if the changes would be available to the public. Mr. Koenig <br /> responded that they would supplement the information as an addendum to the DEIS and that <br /> would be available for public review. That will be mailed to all parties of record. <br /> Commissioner Trautman asked about a farmers market located in the common area.
