Snohomish County is responsible for equitably distributing a portion of the fees it has received to local <br /> jurisdictions within the County that (1) have approved boating safety programs, (2) desire to receive a share of the <br /> fees, and (3) have entered into a cooperative agreement with the County. The Agreement term is March 1, 2009. <br /> through February 29, 2012. Everett has received approval of its boating safety program and is eligible to receive 40% <br /> of the total amount received by the County,which amounts to $83,502.38 for the year 2009 and then 40% of the total <br /> amount for the years 2010 and 2011. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Distribution of <br /> Vessel Registration Fees Agreement between the City of Everett and Snohomish County. <br />
