EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA • 6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, APRIL 15, 2009 CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS 3002 WETMORE AVENUE EVERETT, WA Roll Call Pledge of Allegiance Approval of Minutes: April 8, 2009 Mayor's Comments Council Comments City Attorney Citizen Comments CONSENT ITEMS: (1) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the amount of $1,297,383.65 for the period of March 28, 2009 through April 3, 2009 (2) To approve a rolling street closure on Alverson Boulevard from Legion Memorial Park to Grand Avenue, Grand to 19th, 19th to Colby and back to the park for a March for Babies on May 30, 2009, 9 a.m. to 11 a.m., sponsored by the March of Dimes with the conditions that personnel be on site and prepared to accommodate emergency vehicle access in the event of an emergency, and that trained traffic control personnel be utilized to control affected intersections when pedestrians are present (3) Authorize the Call for Bids for the Holly Drive Non-Motorized Improvement Project (4) Authorize Call for Bids for the construction of the Larimer Road at Wood Creek Project- Sheet Pile and Grout Repairs ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) (5) Adopt Resolution No. revising 20 mph school sped zone adjacent to Evergreen Middle School (6) Authorize the Mayor to sign a Professional Services Agreement with Structural Design Associates, Inc., to provide on-call structural design and analysis services in an amount not to exceed $30,000 (7) Award construction contract for the 2009 Hot mix Overlay Project to Cemex Construction Materials Pacific LLC, Everett, WA, in the amount of $1,289,525.61 (8) Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services Agreement with Aspect Consulting for Geotechnical Engineering Study to extend the completion date to December 31, 2009, with no additional costs AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF THIS PAGE
