Costs were incurred by the Parks <br /> Department as a result of flooding of the Lowell Riverfront Trail and the Rotary Park Boat Launch <br /> and parking area. The reimbursement amount is not committed to at the time that the Grant <br /> Agreement is executed. Financial commitments will be made by amendments to the grant <br /> assistance application as project worksheets are completed by the applicant and authorized by <br /> state and federal officials. Pursuant to the State-FEMA Agreement, FEMA will reimburse <br /> seventy-five percent (75%) of the eligible costs for any eligible project and one hundred percent <br /> (100%) of the administrative costs; the applicant will commit to the remaining twenty-five percent <br /> (25%) as non-federal match. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to sign the Public <br /> Assistance Grant Agreement with the Washington State Military Department and the Federal <br /> Emergency Management Agency for the January 6 -16, 2009 Flood Event. <br />
