CITY OF EVERETT, WASHINGTON 3 <br /> SPECIFICATIONS FOR <br /> SEWER SYSTEM CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS <br /> AND PIPELINE REPLACEMENT "J" <br /> WORK ORDER # UP 3270 <br /> NOTICE TO CONTRACTORS <br /> Notice is hereby given that sealed proposals will be received by the City Clerk at the City <br /> Clerk's Office, lsFloor Wall Street Building, 2930 Wetmore, Everett, Washington <br /> 98201, until 2:00 p.m., on Tuesday, June 16, 2009 for the construction of approximately <br /> 2,630 linear feet of 18-inch diameter sewer force main and two flow diversion manhole <br /> structures and the replacement of approximately 2,910 linear feet of existing gravity <br /> combined sewer pipe ranging in size from 8-inch to 18-inch diameter and manholes, side <br /> sewers and other such appurtenances, described more completely in the specifications <br /> and contract "SEWER SYSTEM CAPACITY IMPROVEMENTS AND PIPELINE <br /> REPLACEMENT `J', W.O. # UP 3270" and will then and there be opened and publicly <br /> read aloud. The engineer's estimate for this project is $2,500,000. <br /> Plans, specifications, addenda, and plan holders list for this project may be viewed on <br /> line at http://www.everettwa.org/bidscontracts/bids.asp <br /> Plan sets may also be purchased for reproduction costs at Bill's Blueprints (425-259- <br /> 0859) at 2920 Rockefeller Avenue, Everett, WA 98201. <br /> For technical questions regarding this project, contact David Voigt, Project Engineer, <br /> City of Everett, at 4257257-8983. <br /> All proposals must be made upon the regular forms provided in the Proposal Section of <br /> the contract documents and must be accompanied by a bid bond or certified check in an <br /> amount not less than 5% of the bidder's total bid amount. <br /> The City reserves the right to reject any and all bids and waive any irregularities or <br /> informalities.
