The agreement allocates 21% of the HOME funds,which go to the County from the federal <br /> government to the City of Everett. In December 2008, the City of Everett allocated HOME funding to the <br /> ARTSPACE project,which is now under construction. At that time, City staff indicated to City Council that <br /> $91,229 of that HOME funding allocated to Artspace by the City still awaited approval from the Snohomish <br /> County Council. That approval occurred on February 2, 2009. The purpose of the attached Amendment is <br /> housekeeping to make clear that County approval of$91,229 has occurred and that amount is available to <br /> Artspace. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign Amendment#2 to the 2004 HOME funding Agreement with Snohomish <br /> County. <br /> 17 <br />
