This ordinance provides, in <br /> accordance with the new state law, that violation of a provision in a domestic violence order that prohibits <br /> interfering with the protected party's efforts to remove a pet can be prosecuted as a gross misdemeanor. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: Adopt the Proposed Ordinance relating to Domestic Violence — Protection of <br /> Animals, amending Ordinance 1234-86 (EMC 10.22.040) as provided in Section 6 of this Ordinance. <br /> 49 <br />
