Ll. <br /> f ", O <br /> ORDINANCE NO. 1909-92 <br /> AN ORDINANCE regulating the Surface Water System within <br /> the City of Everett and •amending Ordinance No. <br /> 1750-90. (EMC 14.56) <br /> WHEREAS, certain amendments to Ordinance No. 1750-90 (EMC 14 .56) <br /> are hereby found to enhance the specifications of the City of <br /> Everett Surface Water System Regulation Program. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> SECTION 1: Section 4 of Ordinance No. 1750-90 which reads as <br /> follows: <br /> SECTION 4 : DISCHARGE OF POLLUTING MATTER IN <br /> RECEIVING BODIES OF WATER PROHIBITED. <br /> It is unlawful for any person to throw, drain, run, or <br /> otherwise discharge into the surface water system, -or <br /> to cause, permit or suffer to be thrown, drained, run, <br /> allow to seep or otherwise discharge into the surface <br /> water system any organic or inorganic matter that shall <br /> cause or tend to causes-TITUAtian csf , as <br /> provided for in this section: <br /> Pollution includes, but is not limited tp the <br /> following: <br /> A. Petroleum products including but not limited to <br /> oil, gasoline, grease, fuel oil, heating oil; <br /> B. Chemicals; <br /> C. Paints; <br /> D. Steam cleaning wastes; <br /> E. Fresh concrete; <br /> F. Washing of fresh concrete for cleaning and/or <br /> finishing purposes to expose aggregates; <br /> G. Laundry wastes; <br /> H. Soaps; <br /> I. Pesticides, herbicides, or fertilizers within <br /> twenty-five (25) feet of a surface water system; <br /> 58 <br />
