June 24, 2015 <br />BID AWARD — SHORE AVENUE STORMWATER OUTFALL <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />Moved by Council Member Stonecipher, seconded by Council <br />Member Moore, to reject bid of James W. Fowler Company as non- <br />responsive and non -responsible and authorize the Mayor to execute <br />construction contract for Schedule A and Schedule B for the Shore <br />Avenue Stormwater Outfall Improvement Project to the lowest <br />responsive and responsible bidder, Thomco Construction, Inc., in <br />the amount of $1,529,647.00 including Washington State Sales tax. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br />Members Roberts, Murphy, and Tuohy who were excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />AGREEMENT — 2015 HOT MIX OVERLAY PROJECT <br />Moved by Council Member Moore, seconded by Council Member <br />Gipson, to authorize the Mayor to sign the Local Agency A&E <br />Professional Services Cost Plus Fixed Fee Consultant Agreements <br />for the 2015 Hot Mix Asphalt Overlay Project with KBA, Inc. in an <br />amount not to exceed $93,500.00; and Harris and Associates, Inc. in <br />an amount not to exceed $138,127.40. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes, except Council <br />Members Roberts, Murphy, and Tuohy who were excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />DONATION — X-RAY MACHINE <br />Moved by Council Member Stonecipher, seconded by Council <br />Member Gipson, to accept the gift of an x-ray machine from the <br />Animal Rescue Foundation to Animal Services for the Everett Animal <br />Shelter Veterinary Clinic. <br />191 <br />
