A I -2, V�mT(_4-q_ <br /> NEW COMMERCIAL AND MULTI-FAMILY <br /> CONSTRUCTION PERMIT SUBMITTAL CHECKLIST <br /> PERMIT SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS: <br /> 1. Land use reviews (SEPA, etc.) if required, must be completed prior to permit <br /> submittal. Include a copy of the final decision. <br /> 2. Three sets of building plans that include site and landscape plans PLUS an <br /> additional four sets of civil engineering site development plans <br /> i.e. 3 sets building/site/landscape plans (1/8" = 1' minimum scale) <br /> (Please Note: Review is only for the building permit even if mechanical,plumbing, <br /> electrical or sprinkler plans are included—those permits are all reviewed <br /> separately for commercial projects and will need to be submitted with separate <br /> applications) <br /> 4 sets civil plans (1" = 40' minimum scale) <br /> 3. Maximum size of plan sets: 42" long, 30" wide (bound edge), 5/8" thick. All pages in a <br /> plan set shall be uniformly sized. <br /> 4. Two sets of documentation i.e. storm water/drainage analysis, soils reports, <br /> engineering calculations, lighting budget, etc. if required <br /> 5. Completed Permit Application <br /> 6. Plan check fee <br /> 7. All documents must be clearly legible for microfilming, each page consecutively <br /> I. CONSTRUCTION DOCUMENTS <br /> A. Include a code data section on the coversheet to include the occupancy classifications, <br /> types of construction, occupant loads and building area justification. Also indicate <br /> whether a sprinkler system and/or fire alarm will be installed and what codes are in effect <br /> at the time of application. <br /> B. Architect's stamp. All projects over 4,000 square feet or more than 4 dwelling units <br /> require the plans to be prepared by an architect currently licensed to practice in the state <br /> of Washington (RCW 18.08). Please note that an engineer's stamp does not eliminate <br /> this requirement. <br /> C. Foundation plans and details. <br /> D. Floor plan with complete dimensions. Indicate the proposed use of each space. Show <br /> all exit doors, stairs, corridors, etc. <br /> E. Building section with vertical dimensions and building construction details. <br /> F. Wall sections indicating proposed construction and assembly ratings as required for <br /> occupancy separation, area separation or building construction. <br /> G. Exterior elevations (all sides) indicating proposed materials, finish grade and building <br /> height. <br /> H. Stair or ramp plans (1/4" = 1' minimum scale) and sections. <br /> I.
