Please review and respond to the comments below. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with new sets of construction documents reflecting the corrections requested. 1. The City of Everett Traffic Engineering Department requires that an accessible pedestrian path be maintained along both the Everett Ave and Wetmore Ave frontages of the project site. Typically, this accessible pedestrian path shall have a minimum of 4' interior clear width along the entire project frontage with a continuous detectable curb, and shall connect to a 4' by 4' area adjacent to each pedestrian pushbutton and a 4' by 4' area at the top of each curb ramp. 2. The walk-don't walk indicating lamps must remain visible to pedestrians on opposite corners. Please indicate how this will be accomplished. 3. The sidewalk cover structure shall be set back a minimum of 2-feet from the face of curb along Everett Avenue and Wetmore Avenue. 4. Please show how the structure will be anchored down to resist overturning due to wind loads. 5. A site plan, drawn to scale, detailing this accessible pedestrian path must be reviewed and approved by Traffic Engineering prior to the issuance of any scaffolding permits for this site.
