Additional violations as defined in the Uniform Housing Code: <br /> 1. The building has been severely damaged by vandalism. All Vital systems, <br /> heating, electrical, plumbing, and mechanical have been destroyed. <br /> 2. There is graffiti on the exterior and interior of the building. <br /> 3. Walls on the interior and exterior of the building have been destroyed. <br /> 4. Window panes have been destroyed and doors are broken and/or missing. <br /> 5. Siding has been destroyed, broken and is missing in some areas on the exterior <br /> of the building. <br /> 6. There is a lack of weather protection for the interior and exterior of the <br /> building. <br /> 7. The building is an attractive nuisance to the health, safety, and welfare of the <br /> public, and inquisitive minors in the area. <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the above stated conditions of said buildings endanger <br /> the life, health, property, and safety of the public and occupants of the buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the buildings constitute dangerous buildings under <br /> the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings and substandard buildings under <br /> the Uniform Housing Code; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the owner has been given notice of this Council <br /> meeting; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council finds that it is imperative that immediate action be taken to <br /> abate the buildings; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br /> EVERETT: <br /> Section 1: <br /> That the buildings located at 8830 Evergreen Way, Everett, Washington, are legally described <br /> as follows: <br /> BEVERLY GARDEN TRACTS DIV 1 BLK 000 D-01 - PTN LOT 3 DAF BEG INT <br /> NELY LN LOT 3 & WLY LN HWY 99 TH NWLY ALG NELY LN LOT 3 FOR <br /> 130 FT TH SWLY PLT WLY LN HWY 99 FOR 200 FT M/L TO SWLY LN LOT 3 <br /> TH SELY ALG SWLY LN SD LOT 3 TO W LN HWY TH NELY ALG W LN HWY <br /> TO POB, <br /> 4 <br />
