.0.7.41 <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 4149 <br /> A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett, initiating a EA'/FJ?ETT <br /> Business Improvement Area, pursuant to RCW 35.87A.030. <br /> WHEREAS, the City is in receipt of petitions signed by property owners in the <br /> downtown area of Everett, requesting the City Council to establish a Business <br /> Improvement Area, pursuant to RCW 35.87A; and <br /> WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to establish a Business Improvement Area as <br /> herein below more specifically set forth; <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> Section 1: That it is the intention of the Council to establish a Business <br /> Improvement Area, as authorized by RCW Chapter 35.87A, in the downtown area <br /> of the City of Everett within the following described boundaries: <br /> Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Pacific Avenue and the <br /> centerline of the alley west of Hoyt Avenue, thence north along the <br /> centerline of the alley west of Hoyt Avenue to the intersection of the <br /> center line of Everett Avenue, thence east along the centerline of Everett <br /> Avenue to the intersection of the centerline of the alley west of Colby <br /> Avenue, thence north along the centerline of the alley west of Colby <br /> Avenue to the centerline of 26th Street, thence east along the centerline of <br /> 26th Street to the intersection of the centerline of the alley east of <br /> Wetmore Avenue to the intersection of Pacific Avenue, thence west along <br /> the centerline of Pacific Avenue to the point of beginning. <br /> Situated in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State of <br /> Washington. <br /> Section 2: That in order to improve the general appearance of the BIA, to <br /> improve the economic climate and foster economic development within the BIA, <br /> the City of Everett would levy special assessments upon buildings and other real <br /> property (and/or the owners thereof), within the BIA, deposit the funds collected <br /> in a special City fund, and expend them only for the purposes or activities that <br /> benefit the BIA as proposed and outlined in this resolution, and as may be more <br /> DOWNTOWN BIA INITIATION RESOLUTION Page 1 <br /> 0 <br />
