The unit is on the <br /> approved 2009 General Fund replacement list. <br /> Invitations to bid were mailed to 19 potential bidders, advertised in the Herald, and posted on the City's <br /> website. Five responses were received, as shown on the attached bid summary. Because this is a purchase of <br /> used equipment,the bid award is based on the cost per remaining mile of the expected equipment life.
