This contract requires the Baker Firm to file certain paper <br /> documents with the Municipal Court in every case. The Municipal Court is now able to this electronically. <br /> The purpose of the proposed amendment is to eliminate the paper filing requirement from the contract. This <br /> will save time and money for the Municipal Court, the City prosecutors, and the Baker Firm, and will <br /> increase efficiency in case processing. <br /> RECOMMENDATION (Exact action requested of Council): Authorize the Mayor to Execute Amendment <br /> No. 1 to the Contract with Baker, Lewis, Schwisow & Laws PLLC in the form substantially as provided. <br /> 39 <br />
