ORDINANCE NO. <br /> AN ORDINANCE creating a special improvement project entitled <br /> "Pedestrian Signals at Casino Road and Rucker Avenue,"Fund 303, <br /> Program 086, to accumulate all costs for the improvement project. <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett is committed to the implementation of safety enhancements; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett has received a State grant to implement safety enhancements <br /> associated with the Swift Bus Rapid Transit(BRT) system; and <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: <br /> Section 1: <br /> A special improvement project is hereby established as Fund 303, Program 086, and entitled <br /> "Pedestrian Signals at Casino Road and Rucker Avenue," to accumulate all costs for the <br /> improvement project. <br /> Section 2: <br /> Authorization is hereby given to accumulate costs and distribute payments from Fund 303, <br /> Program 086, for the improvement project. <br /> Section 3: <br /> Authorization is hereby granted for the "Public Works Director," under direction of the Mayor, to <br /> assume full and complete responsibility for conducting all tasks and doing all things to <br /> accomplish the actions authorized in this ordinance. <br /> Section 4: <br /> The sum of$540,000.00 is hereby appropriated to Fund 303, Program 086, "Pedestrian Signals at <br /> Casino Road and Rucker Avenue," as follows: <br /> A. Estimated Project Costs: <br /> Design and Construction $ 540,000.00 <br /> B. Sources of Funds: <br /> PBSP— State Grant $ 400,000.00 <br /> Fund 119 — Street Improvements 140,000.00 <br /> Total $540,000.00 <br /> 90 <br />
