The purpose of this project will be to expand the dining room portion of the building towards the <br /> East,to allow for more dining space and a new kitchen, an addition of approximately 2,100 square feet. The <br /> stage (platform) will be expanded, new wood flooring will be installed in the existing dining space, and a <br /> new elevator and storage room will be added. <br /> The Facilities Department has determined Corstone Contractors, LLC to be the lowest responsive bidder <br /> (See attached bid results). A breakdown of construction costs are as follows: <br /> Base Bid: $773,285.00 <br /> Sales Tax: $ 71,142.22 <br /> Total: $844,427.22 <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Award construction contract for the Carl Gipson Senior Center of Everett- Additions Project to Corstone <br /> Contractors,LLC of Snohomish in the amount of$844,427.22 including Washington State sales tax. <br /> 23 <br />
