_.ETT oi RESOLUTION NO. 4062 A RESOLUTION of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, declaring its intention to order the construction of standard street improvements on Evergreen Way from SR526 to Madison Street and to create a local improvement district to be known as Local Improvement District No. 732A to assess a part of the cost and expense of carrying out those improvements against the properties specially benefited thereby, notifying all persons who desire to object to the improvements to appear and present their objections at a hearing before the City Council to be held on February 22, 1995, and repealing Resolution No. 3996. WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 3996, adopted September 14, 1994, the City Council declared its intention to form Local Improvement District No. 732 for the construction of street improvements on Evergreen Way from SR 526 to Madison Street; and WHEREAS, after public hearings and due consideration, the Council is of the opinion that new formation proceedings for such a local improvement district should be initiated by a new resolution to include provision for installation of off-street parking as requested by property owners in the area, and that Resolution No. 3996 should be repealed; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL FOR THE CITY OF EVERETT Section 1: It is the intention of the City Council of the City of Everett, Washington, to order the improvement of the properties within the area described in Exhibit A, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof, by the construction of standard street improvements on Evergreen Way from SR 526 to Madison Street, as further described in Exhibit B, attached hereto and by this reference made a part hereof. All of the foregoing improvements shall be in accordance with the plans and specifications therefor prepared by the City Engineer and may be modified by the City as long as that modification does not affect the purpose of the improvements. Section 2: The total estimated cost and expense of the improvements is declared to be $1,998,500. It is anticipated that approximately $1,523,500 of that cost and expense shall be paid by the City and from state and federal grants, and the balance thereof in the approximate amount of $475,000 shall be borne by and assessed against the property specifically benefited by the improvements in the area to be known as Local Improvement District No. 732A. Actual assessments may vary from estimated assessments as long as they do not exceed a figure equal to the increased true and fair value the improvements add to the property. U
