In 2014, the "City of <br />Everett 2014 CSO Control Plan Update" (Plan) was submitted to Ecology for their approval. The Plan <br />outlines the City's proposed program to bring all of the 13 CSOs into regulatory compliance by Year 2027, <br />which is 10 years past the previously approved compliance schedule. The overall estimated cost of the <br />proposed CSO program is $87.2 million. On December 17, 2014, The City Council adopted Resolution No. <br />6805 - the 2014 Comprehensive Sewer Plan, which includes the CSO program. <br />The "Agreed Order" between Ecology and the City of Everett achieves CSO regulatory compliance by <br />December 31, 2027 by implementing the City's 2014 CSO Control Plan Update. By signing this Agreed <br />Order, City of Everett agrees not to appeal the order. <br />RECOMMENDATION: <br />Authorize the Mayor to sign the State of Washington, Department of Ecology Agreed Order No. 11638. <br />73 <br />
