These comments address building issues only, additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1994 Unifortn Building Code, as amended by the State of Washin�ton an�/or Washington State Energy Code 1995 Edition, unless stated othenvise. l. The plans submitted have not been updated to the curtent Unifortn Building Code. All code references shall be for the 1994 Uniform Building Code (UBC). 2. The plans as submitted do not meet the prescnptive requirements of Section 2326.11.3 of the UBC for braced wall lines. Also see Tnble 23-I-W. 3. Specify all post/beam, beam/beam and posdfooting connections. 4. Specify on plans which whole house ventilation system is used. 5. Outdoor air is required to be supplied to all habitable rooms for all whole house systems. Specify the type of outdoor air system, including individual outdoor air inlets, forced-eir heating system, ducting, or equivalent means. ln order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two complete sets of drawings reFlecting the corrections requested.
