The Uniform Building Code provides that ull permits expire by limitation if the work <br />authorized by the pertnit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work is commenced for a <br />period of I 80 days. If you wish to prevent the permits from expiring without documentution of <br />completion, you mny: <br />1) Request insaections of wark that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit n written request for a 180 dey extension. <br />P!ease provide the permit number when requesting inspections or extensions. Please respond <br />within 10 days. Afier that time the file will be sent to our Records Department for microfilming <br />without final appravnl.
