T'he Uniform Duilding Code provides that ull pertnits expire by limitetion if the work <br />nuthorized by the permit is suspended or ubandoned nt any time aRer work is commenced for n <br />period of I 80 days. If you wish to prevent the permits tiom expiring without documentation of <br />completion, you may: <br />l) Request inspections of work that has occurred, to documer�t continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspections of the work that is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written reyuest for a 180 day extension. <br />Plense provide the permit number when reques:�ng inspecdon� or extensions.
