July 22, 2015 <br />The regular meeting of the Everett City Council was called to order at <br />12:30 p.m., July 22, 2015 in the City Council Chambers of the William E. <br />Moore Historic City Hall, President Bader presiding. Upon roll call it was <br />found that Mayor Stephanson and Council Members Roberts, Moore, <br />Murphy, Gipson, Bader, and Tuohy were present. Council Member <br />Stonecipher was excused. <br />Council President Bader led the Pledge of Allegiance. <br />The minutes of the July 15, 2015, City Council meeting were approved as <br />printed. Council Member Moore abstained from the vote. <br />NAAvnR <br />OATH OF OFFICE <br />Moved by Council Member Murphy, seconded by Council Member <br />Roberts, to concur with the appointment of Ben White as a new <br />police officer. <br />Roll was called with all council members voting yes except Council <br />Member Stonecipher who was excused. <br />Motion carried. <br />The Deputy City Clerk administered the oath of office, and Mayor <br />Stephanson presented the officer with his badge. <br />Fire Chief Murry Gordon introduced four new Everett firefighters.. David <br />Neyens, Brian Duthie, Joel Selinger, and Phillip Hillhouse. Assistant Fire <br />Chief Bob Edgely presented them with their badges. <br />COUNCIL <br />Council Member Roberts reported that the Transportation Advisory <br />Committee met last week and are continuing work on the transportation <br />MR <br />
