Our records also indicate that your property is adjacent to, or is within 150 feet of an existing public sanitary sewer. I have enclosed an excerpt from our sanitary sewer chart indicatin� the proximity of your property to a public sanitary sewer system. Any costs to connect, including construction and mon?hly sewer cliarges, is to be borne by the property owner. If you believe that your residence or business is c�rrently connected to the City's se�ver main, please contact the City of Everett Public Works Department at 425-257- 8800 so we can update our records. A sewer permit and application issued by the City and signed by an inspector is one viable means of proof. Another alternative to prove the structure is connected to the sewer system is to allow the City of Everett to perform a dye test. A dye test requires the owner's permission and the resident's notification to allow a city employee to enfer tlie premises and flush dye into the toilet. In a short amount of time the colored water will appear in the sewer main if the residence is hooked up to the sewer system.
