The <br />documentalion consisted oi a pholographic record of the cunstruction, inr.luding excavation, <br />installation oi the flow conirol piping, rock-bed, amended soils, and pond formation. The <br />contractor also measured thr bottom areas (or Mr. Ash, noting that all cells will exceed 400 <br />square teet (sf) wilh the exceplion ol Lot-2, whir,h was smaller due to the presence of Ihe power <br />and phonc pedestals and Ihe that average for the site will rcadily exceed the 400 sf rninimum <br />hottam are�. <br />The amended soil h�end was ihe Ferti-mulch producl prepared hy Qie Thomas Family Farm, <br />( I opsod's Northwe;t Inc � on Marsh fld in Snohomish, Washmgton, which is made o( a hiyh <br />quality com;�nst produced from manures anA beddiny materials and is r.ured for at Ieast one <br />year. Lar��� Technologies has experienr.e with Itus product and facility and cnnsider il one of the <br />better ��roducis for usr in bio-cell construction. II is a consislr.nt produr.t the meets the DOE <br />perm��ability and organic content reqwremenls. <br />The open ponding area oi lii� completed bio-cell has not been (ortnally topographic�lly <br />surveyed, but a few simple yard stick' measurements confirm the side slopes are acceptable <br />and ihe total deplh meets or exceeds Ihe 18 inch minimum A photo of the completed cell with <br />landscapmy and hydro-seed is provided lor ihe record.
