The coste <br />t:o connect, including construction and monthly sewer service charges, <br />will be borne by the property owner. <br />A review of existinq records indi.c�tes that your property is not <br />connected to the public sewer cystem. our records also indicate that <br />your property fronts on, or is within, 150 leet of an existing public <br />sanitary sewer. I have enclosed an excr_rpt from our sanitary sewer <br />chart indicating the proximity of your property to a publiu sa;�itary <br />sewer system. <br />You are being notified by this letter to connect to the puhl{� ��ewer. <br />In the avenL you do not wish to connect to the sewer the City Engineer <br />may, on written request from the property cwner, extend the Lime to <br />connect to the public sewer for a period of up to five (5) yoare if <br />the following condition is met. The existing sewage system shall be <br />inspected by the Sn�homish tiealth District at the property owner�s <br />expense and a written certification sh�ll be submitted to the Publio <br />Works Department indicatinq that the existing septic system ie <br />acceptable to the Snohomish }lealth DiFtrict- and will function for at <br />least five (5) years. Thn Snohomish Nealth District can be contacted <br />at 339-5270. <br />Everett Municipal Code fuither establishes that all properties within <br />15o feet of an available public sariiteiry sewer, who fail to connect <br />after notice hy ttie City, shall pay t.o tlie City an amount equa] to the <br />sewer service charq�s established for other users of like kind.
