I have enclosed an excerpt from our saniL-!ry sewer
chart indicaling the proximity of your property to a public sanitary sewer system. Any
costs to ccnnect, including construction and monthly sewer service charges, i to be
borne by the property owner.
If you believe your residence or ousiness is currently connecte to the City's sewer
main, please contact the City ot Everett Public Woics DepaAment at 425-257-8600 so
we can update our records.
A sewer permit and application issued by the Ciry and signed by an inspector is one
viable means of proof. In a short amount of time the colored water
will appear in the sewer main if the reidence is hooked up to the sewer system.
In the event you are not currently con cted to the sewer and wish to delay connection,
the City engineer may, on written re:;est from the property owner, extend the time to
connect to the public sewer for a period of up to a maximm oi 10 years; provided that,
at the property owner's expense, the Snohomish Health District certifies, in writing, to
the Public Works Gepartment that the existing sewage system is operational. The
Snolomish Health District can be contacted at 425-339-5250; ask for the Wastewater
Division.
