Carey <br />PO Box 59 <br />Sultan, WA 98294 <br />RE: 2016 120th PI SG., Everett, Washington <br />Dear Mr. & Mrs. Carey: <br />After reviewing the Building Inspection file for this address, it was noted that permits <br />were issued for some of the work being performed on thc duplex at the above reference <br />address. <br />This letter is to make sUre that you are aware of the Uniforni IIuilding Code <br />requirements as adopted by the City of Everett legisiative body. <br />My and all structural changes to the building require plans, which are examined by a <br />Plans Examiner, followed by the issuance of Building permits. These measures are <br />required by the code and mandated by the State of Washington. <br />The rebuilding and repair work perfortned to the roof, wails, doors and windows, <br />required plans, permits, and subsequent inspections. <br />Fire safery requirements, such as smoke detectors, emergency escape and rescue <br />windows, and fire wall separation all have to be taken into consideration. <br />Plans showing the existing framing construction, ar,d the rype of insulation you plan to <br />install need to be reviewcd by a Plans Examiner. <br />It is advisable to have an inspection of the work already performed and a look at the <br />proposed work prior to a plans being submitted for review.
