TRAFFIC STUDY <br />for <br />CASPER CREEK <br />A <br />114 UNIT TOWNHOME PROJF:CT <br />on 721st Street S.E. west of 19th Avenue S.E. <br />Everett, Washinqton <br />for <br />Schneider Homes, inc. <br />j.,ocation <br />The location of the proposed "Casper Creek" project, a 114 unit <br />townhome development, is on the south side of 121st Street S.E., <br />also known as Silver Lake Road, and west of 19th Avenue S.E., <br />also known as S.R. 527, in the :;outheast sector of the City of <br />Everett. The site is shown in Figure 1, the Vicinitv Mao. <br />Purvose <br />The purpose of this study is to obtain current traffic volume <br />data for the road network that is expected to carry ten or more <br />peak hour site generated trips and fifty or more cumulative peak <br />hour trips or that will increase traffic volumes on a facility <br />by more than twenty percent. <br />Further, the stuEiy is to include a series of key traffic <br />characteristics for the road network n�ted above including but <br />not limited to est:imates cf the future peak hour (design hour) <br />of the typical weeskday, th� expected trip generation for the <br />proposed BB unit reaidential condominium development, to assign <br />the daily vehicular and peaa hour demand produced by the <br />development to the arteria: system, and then complete the study <br />by identityinq the cunent and future levels of service (LOS) at <br />the key internections for ti:e horizon year that incorporates <br />traffic from adjacent develoEments that will be completed within <br />the same time frame. <br />Pedestrian, bicycle, and inc;reases in truck traffic along with <br />possible impacts on transit, and qeometric desiqn aspects <br />concerning safety are to be included, also.
