Species densiry and abundance shall be similar to that found in similar <br />"pnstine" wetland portions of Silver Lake watershed and other adjacent Palustnne <br />scn�blshrub wetland ecosystems, and should at a minimum inGude those specles <br />listed in a base line survey. <br />6) Mammala. Abundance and diversity of mammals shall be similar to those found in <br />"pnstine" portions of the Silver Lake Watershed and other adjacent "pnstine" <br />Palustnne scrub/shrub wetland ecosystems. At a minimum, memmals present <br />shall be those observed in the baseline survev. <br />7) Water puality (Optional). Measurement of orthophosphate, oxygen, pH, <br />temperature, Fluoride, alkalinity, conductivity, current, and dissolved solids <br />measuraments should be taken within the study areas. The measurements should <br />be compared to values obtauied from "pnstine" wetlands within the Silver Lake <br />watershed and adjacent "pnstine" Palustnne suub/shrub wetland ecosystems. It is <br />recommended that baseline measurements be conducted at the onset of the <br />restoration and that such measurements should start upsVeam of the study area in <br />undeveloped portions of the creek watershed. <br />B) Soils (Optional►, Nitrogen fixing rates and Palustrine scrub/shrub wetland -1ant <br />groNAh shall be similar to that (ound in other restored Palustrine scrub/shrub <br />wetland ecosystems. <br />The assessments of success of the restoration project shall be made at 2 and 5 year <br />intervals. If the Palustrine suub/shrub weUand restoration does not meet the above <br />cnteria during one of the 5-year assessments, measures shall be immediately <br />implemented to cortect the suspected problem. <br />IA/f PalusMns scrufyshrub wsNand ecosystems, no metter how degraded, provide <br />ceRain funcdional values.
