This extension is based on a satisfactorily operating septic system. This
extension will be void when the 3 year time frame expires, or the Snohomish Health
Disirict notifies you that the septic system is failing. At that time you will then be
required to connect to the available sanitary sewer main.
Everett Municipal Code further establishes that all properties within 150 feet of an
available public sanitary sewer shall pay to the City an amount equal to the sewer
service charges established for other users of like kind. All rates and charges so paid
shall be credited toward the sewer conne.tion charges applicable at such time as the
property is connected to the sanit systei i. It is the City's intent to begin the
applicable monthly sewer service charge, currently $38.40 per month for a single family
residence, if this charge has not already been started. It is estimated at current
connection rates that in approximately two years, you will have accrued enough credi"
to cover City sewer connection charges at the time you connect.
If you have any questions please contact Mike Papa at 425.257-8800.
Sincerely,
'!,
R an L.
