Connection Waiver Request <br />Dear Mr. Manson: <br />The City of Everett has received your request for a waiver of connection to the City of <br />Everett sewer system along wilh the Snohomish Fieallh District certification letter that <br />your septic system is funclioning satisfactorily. <br />Your request has been reviewed and you have been granled an extension for up to six <br />(6) years. This extension is based on a satistactorily operaling septic system. This <br />extension will be void when the six year time frame expires, or the Snohomish Health <br />District noti(ies you that the septic system is failing. At lhat time you will then be required <br />to connect to the available sanitary sewer main. <br />Everett Municipal Code (urther establisties that all properties within 150 (eet of an <br />available public sanilary sewer shall pay to the City an amount equal to the sewer service <br />charges established (or olher users of like kind. All rates and charges so paid shall be <br />credited toward the sewer connection charges applicable at such time as the property is <br />connected to lhe sanitary system. It is the City's intent to begin the applicable monthly <br />sewer service charge, currently $38.40 per month for a single family residence, if this <br />char�e has not already been started.
