The CEMP details authorities, functions and <br /> responsibilities to establish a mutually cooperative plan of action between City departments, divisions, and <br /> other public and private entities in response to a disaster. The CEMP supports National Incident <br /> Management System (NIMS) compliance requirements and utilizes the NIMS Incident Command System. <br /> The CEMP will be used to enhance the City's capability in reducing the impact from a disaster or significant <br /> event to citizens,the environment,the economy and property. <br /> By authorizing the Mayor to sign the Promulgation Memorandum,the City will be implementing the CEMP. <br /> RECOMMENDATION: <br /> Authorize the Mayor to sign the City of Everett Comprehensive Emergency Management Plan Promulgation <br /> Memorandum. <br /> 11 <br />
