Provide 110 volt smoke alarm with battery back-up, interconnected, in all sleeping rooms and in the corridor or area giving access to each separate sleeping area. Show on plans. 2. 2x8 floor joists do not provide sufficient depth for R-30 insulation. 3. The wall between the garage and the proposed addition is required to be insulated to R-21; W's do not provide sufficient depth for R-21 insulation. 4. The door to the garage swings into the garage; a door is not allowed to swing over the stairs. Show the steps down to the garage floor on the plan view. 5. Provide minimum 50 CPM exhaust fan in proposed addition. Show on plans. 6 Provide detail of ledger attachment, show size and spacing of attachment to supporting wall. 7. Show how crawl space under proposed addition is ventilated. Provide 6 mil black moisture barrier in crawl space. 8.
