AMENDMENT NO. 1 TO PROFESSIONAL SERVICES AGREEMENT BETWEEN <br /> THE CITY OF EVERETT <br /> AND <br /> CARLETTI ARCHITECTS <br /> The City and Carletti Architects agree to amend and modify their professional services agreement <br /> dated November 16th,2009 (the"Agreement")as follows: <br /> WHEREAS, Carletti Architects and the City entered into an Agreement dated November 16th,2009 to <br /> provide architectural and design engineering services for the City of Everett's Water Pollution Control <br /> • Facilities' Administration and Maintenance Buildings; and <br /> WHEREAS, additional design and engineering support services are needed and the total amount of <br /> compensation stated in the Agreement is insufficient for the remainder,of the project and an additional <br /> $4,000 of contract value is needed to complete the project; and <br /> WHEREAS,the City of Everett requires continued assistance from Carletti Architects for services as <br /> described in Exhibit A of this Amendment; <br /> NOW THEREFORE, the City of Everett and Carletti Architects agree to amend and modify the <br /> Agreement as follows: <br /> 1. Paragraph 4(D) is modified to read as follows: <br /> 4(D). Total compensation,including all services and expenses, shall not exceed a <br /> maximum of Nineteen Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($19,500). <br /> 2. Additional work is described in Exhibit A and Exhibit B to Amendment No. 1 <br /> 3. The effective date of this Amendment is May 1st <br /> 4. All terms, conditions and provisions of the Agreement remain in full force and effect except as <br /> expressly modified by this Amendment, <br /> • <br /> 26 <br />
