EVERETT CITY COUNCIL PRELIMINARY AGENDA <br /> 6:30 P.M., WEDNESDAY, MAY 12, 2010 <br /> CITY COUNCIL CHAMBERS <br /> Roll Call <br /> Pledge of Allegiance <br /> Approval of Minutes: May 5, 2010 <br /> Mayor's Comments <br /> Council Comments <br /> City Attorney <br /> Citizen Comments <br /> WORKSHOP: Capital Projects Review. <br /> CONSENT ITEMS: <br /> (1) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing claims against the City of Everett in the <br /> amount of $2,093,977.60 the period of April 24, 2010 through April 30, 2010 <br /> (2) Adopt Resolution No. authorizing payroll claims against the City of Everett in <br /> the amount of $3,483,829.04 for the period ending April 24, 2010 <br /> (3) Authorize the Closure of the alleyway south of 23rd Street between Lombard and <br /> Oakes Avenues for a combination birthday party/neighborhood potluck with the <br /> recommended attached conditions <br /> (4) Authorize the Closure of Colby Avenue between 24th Street and 25th Street on <br /> June 7, 2010, from 5 p.m. to 9:30 p.m., for a safety program for teen drivers <br /> and their parents sponsored by the Snohomish County Sheriff's Department with <br /> the attached conditions <br /> ACTION ITEMS: (to be considered individually) <br /> (5) Concur with the recommendations of the Lodging Tax Advisory Committee and <br /> the Budget Committee regarding the allocation of current Lodging Tax revenues <br /> as designated in an amount not to exceed $100,000.00 <br /> (6) Authorize the Mayor to execute Amendment No. 1 to the Professional Services <br /> Agreement between the City of Everett and Makers Architecture and Urban <br /> design regarding the Evergreen Way Corridor Revitalization Plan <br /> AGENDA CONTINUED ON BACK OF PAGE <br />
