No. 1, as recorded in Vol. 38, Page 119, records of Snohomish County, in <br />the State of Washington; THENCE, North and East along the boundary of Tract <br />332 and Lots 34, 33 and 32 to the Northwest corner of Lot 32 said plat, said point <br />also being the Southwest corner of Lot 2 of that certain Short Plat 259 (7-85) <br />recorded under Auditor's File #8604110219, records of Snohomish County, in the <br />State of Washington; THENCE, East along the South line of said Lot 2 to the <br />East line of said Short Plat THENCE, North along the East line of said Short Plat <br />and its Northerly projection to the North margin of 100th Street S.E.; THENCE, <br />West along the North margin of said right of way to the West line of the <br />Southeast % of Section 17; THENCE, South along said West line to the point of <br />BEGINNING. <br />Section 2: Annexation Area Map <br />Attached hereto as Exhibit A and incorporated herein is a map which identifies the land <br />area being annexed. <br />Section 3: Assumption of Indebtedness <br />Upon annexation, the land area described in Section I and 2 shall become a part of the <br />City of Everett and shall be subject to all of its laws and ordinances then and thereafter in <br />force. Upon annexation of the above-described land area, all property within the area <br />shall be assessed and taxed at the same rate as other property located within the City but <br />SHALL NOT be subject to that outstanding indebtedness of the City contracted prior to <br />or existing at the date of this annexation. In addition, the annexed area will remain <br />responsible unto any other lawfully formed municipal corporation to which the property <br />is obliged at the time of annexation subject to a specific lien. Further, since the City may <br />incur additional operating expenses in supplying water or sewage to persons who are <br />located within the annexed area, utility rates for the property described in Section I and 2 <br />may vary from rates of other areas within the City. <br />Section 4: Land Use Designation <br />The existing Comprehensive Plan designation of Single Family, 5 to 10 dwellings per <br />acre (1.2), is hereby affirmed as the Comprehensive Plan designation for the entire <br />annexation area for the boundaries of the annexation shown on Exhibit A. <br />FA <br />
