These comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the (2009 International Building Code,) (2009 International Residential Code,) as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2006 Edition, and adopted by the City of Everett, unless stated otherwise. In order for the processing of your application to continue, it will be necessary to provide the Building Division with two new complete sets of drawings reflecting the corrections requested. 1. Show cross section cf entire "aywing addition" including footings. Show depth of footings and depth below grade. 2. Provide gravity calculations for header(s) supporting new roof load in existing house. 3. All post/beain and post/footing connections shall be capable of resisting uplift and lateral displacement. 4. Skylights shown on plans appear to be smaller than what is Installed on the roof in the field; please correct. Specify curb height on skylights. 5. Provide elevation views of proposed roof. Show all windows on existing house that will be covered by the new roof. 6. Remove all references to new carport from drawing (including the site plan). 7. The site plan submitted is not to scale.
