Attending were Frank Bennett, Everett Miller and Marie <br /> Sullivan; also attending was Ramona Boy sn, who arrived later. The first <br /> order of business was the election of a new chairman. Frank Bennett offered a <br /> motion to appoint Everett Miller as chairman; Marie Sullivan seconded the <br /> motion. The motion passed with the following vote: <br /> Bennett: yes <br /> Sullivan: yes Miller: abstain <br /> Everett Miller accepted the appointment as Chairman and asked for the support <br /> of the other Board members in carrying out his duties. <br /> ITEM 1: <br /> Applicant: Norman Schulz <br /> 2518 Taylor Drive <br /> Everett, Washington 98203 <br /> Project Location: Lot 4, Edgemoor Heights <br /> Zoning: R-S, Single Family Residential <br /> Variance Requested: From E.M.C. , 19. 12.050(B), Side Yard, to allow <br /> constructicr. of a single family residence that would <br /> be 5 ft. 6 in. from the south side property line and <br /> 5 ft. from the north side property line instead of <br /> the 7 ft. 6 in. required by City code. <br /> Pearl Maddy summarized the staff report (see Variance File No. 45-86) and <br /> presented slides of the property. <br /> Norman Schulz, 2518 Taylor Drive, the applicant, stated that he was satisfied <br /> with the staff report and did not wish to speak. No one else spoke either for <br /> or against the variance request. <br /> Motion: Frank Bennett offered a motion to grant the variance as <br /> recommended by staff.
