assigned space is taken by someone who is visiting at 6005 or 6007 Broadway. This is
trespassing and totally violates our rights.
In reading the City of Everett Code, Chapter 18.28.100, for Short Subdivisions, the maximum
number of units on a private driveway a 9 dwelling units. I clearly do not understand why the City
did not address the two buildings at 6005 and 6007 on 61st St SE when they approved the short
plat. This seems to be in violation of the Building Code.
Therefore I am making a formal request to have the addresses of 6005 and 6007 changed to 6161
St SE where the 8 units have their own access. With this address change, my property rights will
be insured and the tenants who live in 6003 and 6009 will have the right to use their own parking
places without interference.
I am putting a gate up with a lock on it in the next week to stop this traffic of people and vehicles
going back and forth. I will put a sign on this gale that states no access to 6005 and 6007 through
my easement. They must enter off the alley on 610 St SE.
I will give a key to the fire department so that no one is put in danger of fire while you are
addressing this issue and changing the addresses. I believe that if someone measures the
distance behind the buildings at 6005 and 6007 they will find like I did that the areas are the same
as my driveway easement. The fire department should not have any problems accessing these
buildings off the alley when they are re-addressed. The size of a fire truck is not much different
from the size of a garbage truck and the garbage trucks go down this alley each week to take the
garbage from these buildings.
The post office should have no difficulty in changing the address as I was involved in a house
address change on the comer of 1751)NE and Corliss Ave N in Shoreline WA. The city agreed by
phone to the address change and sent out notices to all utilities, etc within one week and the owner
was able to mail address changes to all of their family, friends, etc. in that time frame.
I would like to see this address change lake place within 30 days. I would like a written response
from you on this issue within one week of receipt of this letter.
Sincerely,
Sandee Little
Owner 6009 Broadway Ave
