Run a MSTC40 strap at the bottom of the opening back <br />to the shearwall adjacent with 2x blocking. No additional holdown is required. <br />S• Item 2: A35 angle clips specified in the shearwall schedule may be omitted if the plywood is <br />lapped at the center of the rim joist.
