Please see <br />the enclosed inspection record. The Uniform Building Code provides that all permits expire by <br />limitation if the work authorized by the permit is suspended or abandoned at any time after work <br />is commenced for a period of 180 days. If you wish to prevent the permit from expiring without <br />documentation of completion, you may: <br />1) Request an inspection of work that has occurred, to document continuing progress, <br />or 2) Request final inspection if the work is completed, <br />or 3) Submit a written request for a 180 day extension. <br />Please respond within 10 days. After that time the file will be sent to our Records Department <br />for microfilming without final approval.
