Section 303(b) of the Uniform <br />Building Code provides that permits expire by limitation and become null <br />and void if work authorized by the permit is suspended or does not commence <br />for a period of 180 days. The Code also requires final inspection prior <br />to occupancy for all permits issued, and it is the responsibility of the <br />Permit holder to call for the necessary inspections. <br />If you wish to recommence work you may renew your permit at no cost for an <br />a23itional 180 day period by submitting a wri ten request to this office. <br />The renewal request must reach us by _September 1, 1990 If the work <br />has been completed you may call for a final inspection before 9-1-90 <br />Permits that have been neither finaled nor extended by 9-140 will <br />be retired.
