Board of Adjustment <br />September 8, 1986 <br />Page 5 <br />Motion: Ross Hoagland moved to grant the variance as recommend by Staff, <br />with the condition that the applicant obtain all necessary Building <br />permits. He stated that he thinks this project will enhance the <br />property rather than detract from it. The motion was seconded by <br />Marie Sullivan. <br />Vote: Unanimous in favor of granting the variance. <br />Item 6: <br />Applicant: Eldin C. Anderson <br />1419 73rd St. <br />Everett, Washington 98203 <br />Proiect Location: 1419 73rd St. SE <br />Zoning: R-1 <br />Variance Requested_: Variance from E.M.C. 19.14.040, Gross Fleor Area Ratio to <br />allow construction of a detached garage which together wit' <br />the existing single family residence will cause the gross <br />floor area ratio to be .45 instead of the .30 allowed by <br />Code. <br />Pearl Maddy summarized the staff report (see Variance File No. 33-86) and <br />presented vlewfoils of the property. <br />No one spoke either for or against the variance request. <br />Motion: Stating that he finds no reason not to grant the variance, Everett <br />Miller moved to grant the variance as recommended by Staff with the <br />condition that the applicant obtain all necessary Building and <br />Public Works permits. The motion was seconded by Marie Sullivan. <br />Vote: Unanimous in favor of granting the variance, with Ross Hoagland <br />commenting that he thinks this will enhance rather than detract from <br />the property. <br />Ltem 7: <br />Applicant: Herbert J.
