'These <br />comments address building issues only. Additional revisions or additions may be required by other <br />departments (such as Utilities, Planning or Fire). All references refer to the 1997 Uniform Building <br />Code, as amended by the State of Washington and/or Washington State Energy Code 2001 Edition, <br />unless stated otherwise. <br />In order for the processinK of your application to continue, it will be necessary to <br />provide the Building Division with two complete new sets of drawings reflecting <br />the corrections requested. <br />I. Concrete supporting wood shall extend 6" above the finished grade. <br />2. Wood siding shall be not less than 6" above the finished grade. <br />3. Footings shall rest on undisturbed soil not less than :2" below the finished grade. <br />4. Sill plate is required to be pressure treated. <br />5. Specify double top plate with splices lapped 48". <br />6. Specify 7" minimum embedment of anchor bolts.
