r ORDINANCE NO. 2888-05 AN ORDINANCE amending and closing the special construction fund entitled "Fire Station No.6 — Additions & Alterations", Fund 342, Program 004, as established by Ordinance No. 2500-00. WHEREAS, the City Council recognized the need to remodel Fire Station No.6 located at 9520 Evergreen Way; and WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 2500-00 created the special construction project entitled "Fire Station No.6 — Additions and Alterations", Fund 342, Program 004 to provide for the design and construction costs required to construct additions and alterations to existing Fire Station No.6; and WHEREAS, additional funding is necessary to complete the construction of Fire Station No.6 — Additions and Alterations; and WHEREAS, with the additional funding provided by this Ordinance, the purpose of the fund has been accomplished; and WHEREAS, there are neither outstanding obligations of the fund to be paid nor uncollected revenues to be received; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY OF EVERETT DOES ORDAIN: Section 1: Section 3 of Ordinance No. 2500-00 which reads as follows: The estimated cost of the project is $630,000 including costs related to design, construction, equipment, and contract administration. Be and the same is hereby amended to read as follows: The estimated cost of the project is $889,062 including costs related to design, construction, equipment, and contract administration.
