I was told that
this permit would take from six to eight weeks. When I originally submitted
permit, I asked if there would be any additional information needed to which
they said "no." I was even told the fire hydrants were not shown on the
print, which they were.
Approximately four weeks ago I began calling in regards to this permit
and have since called once or twice per week. On Monday, July 10, 1978, I
was told that I could pick our permit up on Thursday, July 13, 1978. When
I arrived to pick the permit up, I was told that it was not ready and would
probably be at least another week.
It has now been almost three months. I have never experienced the in-
convenience or the run around that I have had with the City of Everett.
It is now to the point that the seller is also getting upset over the
delay as the purchase was contingent upon receipt of the Building Permit.
I would [lope that you might be of some assistance in regards to this matter.
I am planning in the near future to submit another Condominium project to the
City of Everett and am hopeful that I do not experience the some problems.
SH/cm
Sincerely yours,
L, , 47-.
SANDY HOPPER
AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER
