WASHINGTON
@uo$
INSPECTION DLPAHTNCNT
This office received an inspection request for an occupancy
use of the 4th floor of the Beverly Cameron Apartments. Your
electrician was instructed to replace all the thermal cutouts
and thermostats on the electric heating system in the apart-
ments above and adjacent to the apartment that burned and
verify that all others function properly. I noticed the old
thermostats were still in the areas I asked changed and no
verification of the others.
Room 402 has several outlets with reverse polarity, and open
grounds. The heater in the living room is not fastened to
the wall. Several receptacales are loose and the floor
receptacle is not even fastened. The other apartments all
have code violations of some sort such as open grounds,
reverse polarity, loose receptacles and plates and covers
missing.
Would you please make arrangements with the owner that all
your work be completed before calling for inspection? The
last two inspections have been time wasted due to such
violations. This office will not honor another inspection
request unless it comes from your office stating these
corrections have been made.
Yours truly
Jamie G.
