' ( . � _ <br />�� <br />�J �i�`'V��ov�� <br />��, NOV291987 <br />RESOLUTION NO.�� i � <br />C17 Y �,I � .;,L•]'"l <br />A RESOLUTION authorizing vacation and demoli����lih����a'�u�t. <br />building situated at 520 - 75th Street S.E. <br />WHERERS, the City of Everett [3uilding Official has found that the I <br />building which is located at 520 - �5th Street S.E. is a substandard building I <br />pursuant to the Uniform Housing Code; and <br />WHEREAS, the City of Everett Building Official has found the building <br />'�I which is located at 520 - 75th Street S.E. is a dangerous building pursuant to <br />the Uniform Code fo: the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and <br />WHFREAS, *.he City Council finds that the Building Official issued an <br />Order requiring the owners of the property to make the necessary repairs or to <br />� demolish the building; and ' <br />WHEREAS, the City Council finds that repairs or demolition have not <br />� taken place as was required in the Order; and <br />� WHE32El15, the City Council finds that the Order issued by the Building <br />� Official was properly served on the owners of the property in question; and <br />� WHEREAS, the City Council finds that the Building Official has the <br />Ij authority to recommend this action pursuant to the Uniform Building Code and <br />the Uniform Code for the Abatement of Dangerous Buildings; and •. <br />�, WHE3iEA5, the City Council finds that the owners have been given I <br />notice of this Council meeting; and <br />WfiEREAS, the City Council finds that there has been no appeal of the <br />Order issued by the Building Official and that the appeal period has expired; I <br />I <br />and <br />WHEREAS, the City Council, upon due consideration, deems it in the <br />� best interest of the healtli, safety and welfare of the public that a <br />� Resolution be adopted requiring the demolition of the building; i <br />� • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY OF EVERETT: � <br />Section 1: That the building located at 520 - 75th Street S.E. which <br />is legally described as follows contained conditions which endanger the life, <br />limb, health, property, safety and welfare of the public: <br />i Lot 1B, Block 2, Beverly liome Tract, DiviRe�ordsaofpSnohanish <br />�� recorded in Volume 10 of Plats, Page 25, <br />County, Washington. <br />i <br />��; Situate in the City of Everett, County of Snohomish, State <br />�� of Washington. <br />� <br />� <br />i '• <br />i <br />�� <br />
